SOPA’S FALL 2024 STUDENT PRODUCTION
ABOUT BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
THE MUSICAL
The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world–so when they crash Sunday school and demand parts in the Christmas pageant, the whole town panics. There’s not supposed to be biting or cigar-smoking in Bethlehem, and while these kids have never even heard the Christmas story, they definitely have rewrites! Soon, everyone is calling for reluctant director Grace Bradley to cancel the whole thing. It’s up to the Bradleys and the Reverend to help their community see the Christmas story and the Herdman kids through new eyes in this buoyant musical adaptation of the funny and touching holiday classic.

NO refunds will be given once cast list has been posted for any reason.
THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER - ALL STUDENTS who enroll in the STUDENT PRODUCTION will be cast in a named role. Auditions are used as a training tool and to help the Artistic Team assign roles. Student Productions are much less intensive than our MAIN STAGE PRODUCTIONS and an excellent way to grow your skills and learn to be a strong lead and even stronger ensemble! Also a great way to try out new types of lead roles with lines and solos without the pressure of the Main Stage. Student Productions are very high quality and will push you to be your best self. You will be challenged to grow in all ways, on and off the stage. Our Rising Stars Program is the best place for beginner students or ones that do not have the time to dedicate to a fully produced, full length production.
AUDITIONS for our FALL 2024 Student Production will take place Tuesday, September 24th, 2024. Video submissions are due by end of day on 9/21. Email via public viewing google drive link to Info@shineonperformingarts.org.
CALLBACKS are September 26th, 2024 5:00pm-9:00pm. Students who are not able to attend in person callbacks may be asked to submit video callbacks.
The Artistic Team will call back ALL students so they may better understand how the callback process goes. Not all students will be called back for all roles. The Artistic Team will determine who they would like to call back for which role based on auditions.
ALL students that audition for BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER will be automatically cast. We have a limited number of spots for this production.
