HARMONIES - TUNE IN THE WORLD
(Advanced Vocal Technique)

WEDNESDAY
January 8th through February 26th
4:30pm-6:00pm
8 Classes
Ages: 10 to adult
STEP 2 - Some voice experience required

LOCATION:
SHINE ON PERFORMING ARTS STUDIO
1120 Toro Grande #100
Cedar Park, TX 78613

ABOUT THE CLASS:
Students will be challenged and have their interests peaked as we tackle subjects such as chord structures, triad harmonies, suspensions, and even dive into the fascinating world of acoustics. We’ll train our ears to pick apart songs and find out what makes good things sound good and vise versa. We’ll learn how to make our own harmonies off the top of our head and improvise with others. We’ll discuss theoretical ideas and concepts in a very relaxed environment where individual and unique ideas are encouraged to flow freely.    Each week, students will be expected to come, awake, alert, and with healthy voice and a curious mind.

A notebook and PENCIL (not a pen) is highly recommended, as there will be a lot of information presented. I am incredibly excited for this class as this is a subject I’m very passionate about and expect it to be an enlightening experience as all of us musicians put our heads together and make sense of the beautiful abstract world of sound.
